Something Borrowed KC is dedicated to providing unique event rental decor. We want to see you happy and smiling, and we want you to enjoy your event. That’s why we focus on creating one of a kind items. Each item is handcrafted by us. We are dedicated to helping you create and design your dream event.

Something Borrowed is a women run family business. We love having our family and friends involved. A beautiful end result is our highest priority. Take some time to explore our website and see all the beautiful tables, food stands, decor items and more. Questions? Feel free to contact us.

Booking with Something Borrowed KC

Select Items

Find an item that you would like to rent. Click on it to be taken to it’s product page. There you will see a calendar showing availability. Select the day you would like to book and click Book Now. The item will be added to your cart.

Check Out

When you have added all the items you want to your cart, select Check Out. There you will enter information including a Credit Card to have on file for insurance purposes. You can then pay with Debit, Credit or PayPal.

Confirmation

You should receive an email confirmation of your booking within a few minutes. If you do not see it, check spam or junk folders. You can also always view your order on the website under “My Account”.

Scheduling

About two weeks before your event our pick up coordinator will contact you via text to schedule a time to pick up your items. She will also help you with any questions about what you will need for transport.

Pick Up Day

At pick up we will provide you with a list of your booked items and explain how to put together any items that are taken apart for transport. Then you are set to go!

Returns

Most returns are done on Mondays, but earlier returns can be arranged. When you return your items we will go through your list with you and check condition. And that’s it! If you have a good experience with us we’d love reviews (we might even give a reward for one!)
